Arnaud Viala began his career in 1989 as a lighting manager in various theaters in France and Switzerland. From 2001, he devoted himself almost exclusively to musical composition and the creation of lighting creations, mainly in the fields of dance and rock and electro music, as well as, on several occasions, in that of theater.

Creating lighting as well as touring around the world for dance companies, theater companies and rock and electro groups is a passion for Arnaud Viala. He particularly enjoys working in close collaboration with choreographers, directors and composers in order to give, through lights, meaning to what they wish to express.

For dance, he will create the lights for several creations carried by the Traverses Theater Company, the Ballet National de Marseille, the Fox Compagnie, Compagnie 72/73, the Ballet Junior de Genève, the Beaver Dam Company / Edouard Hue, the Grand Avignon Opera, Ljubljana Opera…
