Eli Hooker found interest in movement and performance through tap dancing in his home state of North Carolina (USA). He then developed a passion for contemporary dance and studied at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and at SEAD – Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance. Based in Berlin, he works as a dancer for Helene Weinzierl at the Compagnie CieLaroque. In 2021, Eli Hooker joins the Beaver Dam Company for the choreographic creation All I Need.
