Born in Geneva, Laetitia started with classical dance before discovering various dance styles. Passionate about the contemporary universe, she trained in ballet and contemporary at the Peridance Center school in NYC before joining the Junior Ballet of Geneva where she was able to discover the work of international choreographers. Since then, Laetitia has acquired various experiences, particularly in teaching with several Geneva schools as well as as a dancer in various projects, in particular with the company of Anna Wattkins UK and with the company Alias ​​Guilherme Botelho or with Judith Dess. for the Quarter Hours of Sévelin. In 2021, she participated in the “BRUIT” project of Aurélien Dougé’s Inkörper company during the Fête de la Danse, and later at the Comédie de Genève. She also joined the Neopost Foofwa company for the “ACCORPS” project as a performer and project assistant with Alizée Sourbé and Caroline de Cornière. That same year Laetitia joined the Beaver Dam Company/ Edouard Hue as production manager, cultural development and administrator. In this same field, she collaborates with the company Speak in Silence and the company Anthrop. She also provides her support as a volunteer with various festivals such as the Danse Stage of the Fête de la Musique and the Festival de la Bâtie. In 2022, she joined the Compagnie Bleue as a performer with the creation “Mesure”, presented at Le Fesses-tival, then during the Festival Les Créatives. It was at the end of that same year that Laetitia Gex joined the Association ++1 directed by Ioannis Mandafounis, as a production and project assistant with Mélanie Fréguin.
